Corkern Air Conditioning, Heating & Electric established in 1973 by Alice (wife) and the late Troy Corkern and who are natives of St. Tammany.

Troy and Alice started their business in a room in their home. When Troy would work a full day’s work, he would then do service calls for anyone that needed their air conditioner serviced and repaired to get their business up and running.

As a young boy Kevin would follow his father Troy around while working, knowing all tools by name and their location in the work truck. As Kevin got older, he would work by his father’s side after attending school, working weekends and summer vacation. Kevin attended Sullivan Vo-Tech Trade School where he finished 13% above the national average on the ARI Certification National Exam. Kevin also holds a Louisiana State Mechanical License for air conditioning and Louisiana Electrical License.
